python-cclib software package provides Parsers and algorithms for computational chemistry (Python module), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-cclib
python-cclib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-cclib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-cclib *
You will get with python-cclib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
